About the Learnership:
Glencore is inviting unemployed youth who have completed N2 with relevant trade theory to apply for the Engineering Learnership programme. This learnership offers a valuable opportunity to gain technical and work-specific skills in chosen engineering trade fields. Upon successful completion, candidates will qualify as Artisans with a recognized trade certificate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Entering a learnership agreement with the MQA.
- Completing theoretical and practical trade modules at the training centre.
- Completing all phases of the learnership programme within the specified time frame.
- Participating in On-the-Job training modules.
- Undergoing workplace readiness and technical panel evaluations.
- Attending both Basic and Advanced Engineering Skills Courses.
- Assisting with basic Artisan tasks during practical exposure stages.
Minimum Requirements:
- N2 qualification with relevant Trade Theory.
