The positions are located in the Vhembe District with two posts in Vhembe Far North and two posts in Vhembe West, as well as three posts in Mopani District’s Mopani North.

The minimum requirements for this position are a grade 8 or ABET level 2 qualification, basic literacy and numeracy skills, knowledge of security services, communication skills, good interpersonal relations, and report writing skills.

General worker position The duties of this position include performing routine manual farming activities, controlling the movement of cloven-hoofed animals, stopping, registering and searching vehicles in the redline area, checking meat and dairy products, dung, grass, hides, skins, and other products, confiscating any illegal products, opening and closing the gate, conducting fence patrols, repairing fence breakages, tracing animal tracks, clearing bushes, controlling quarantined animals, checking permits, liaising with the Animal Health Technician for inspections, and keeping records of permits, quarantined animals, and vehicle movements.
