Coca cola is hiring An exciting opportunity awaits in the Warehouse department of Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA). We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Warehouse Clerk, based in Nigel. The successful candidate will directly report to the Stock Manager in Nigel.

The hand held terminal (HHT) is responsible for accurately receiving and documenting primary distribution shipments. It also manages the coordination of resolving any issues with receipting or dispatching vehicles. Additionally, it ensures that all HHTs and related equipment are functioning properly and checked according to the asset care policy.

The HHT is responsible for receiving and dispatching vehicles within the standard turnaround time, as well as ensuring that drivers submit documents in accordance with defined standards. It accurately records any deviations using a standardized format for resolution purposes. The HHT executes production issues and receipts on SAP in a timely and accurate manner, as well as accurately invoicing all external bottler transactions.

In terms of stock reconciliation, the HHT reconciles all inventory movements daily, including primary distribution, secondary distribution, 3rd party issues and receipts, and production issues and receipts. It also processes daily write-ups and write-downs, such as breakages, salvages, trade replacements, and container destruction.

The HHT performs daily stock counting and ensures compliance with national SOPs for stock processes. It takes care of assets according to standard operational practices and ensures accurate and timely system transactions. The HHT controls and stores all stock properly.

Company policy requires the proper handling of documents.
Daily controls must be clear and completed in a timely manner.


Settlement:
Ensure prompt settlement of all Drivers and maintain accuracy in the SAP system by resolving any errors.
Accurately complete route settlements and make corrections when necessary.
Keep a record of route settlement corrections and ensure that there is a debt acknowledgement for any unexplained Driver shortages or missing POD’s.
Provide credit notes / invoices to Distribution in order to obtain customer signatures on route settlement correction billing documents.


Coca cola is hiring, Meet all customer POD requirements and maintain a register of missing and unsigned invoices for any non-compliance.
Process and resolve customer queries on a daily basis to maintain accurate customer accounts.
Complete system transactions accurately and on time.


Chep pallet management:
Manage the daily call off of required Chep pallets while adhering to the required holding days on Chep.
Accurately record issues and receipts from Chep.
Reconcile the Portfolio Plus to SAP and resolve any discrepancies or queries.
Communicate customer trade balances to minimize pallet holding days.


Skills, Experience & Education
Knowledge:
Understanding of warehouse processes and the relationships between them.
Understanding of settlement processes.
Understanding of stock processes and all SOP’s.

  • Ideally pursuing a degree in logistics or transportation
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in Logistics
  • Proficient in computer usage
  • Familiarity with SAP and Excel is advantageous
