Cleaners and General workers duties
Cleaners and general workers play a vital role in ensuring that a workplace or environment is clean, safe and hygienic. Their duties are diverse and range from basic cleaning tasks to more complex duties that require specialized training.
Cleaners are responsible for ensuring that all areas of a workplace are clean and tidy. This includes cleaning floors, walls, windows, and furniture. They also sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other high traffic areas to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria. In addition to cleaning, they are also responsible for restocking supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
General workers, on the other hand, have a broader scope of duties. They perform a variety of tasks including maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of the workplace. They may also assist with moving equipment or furniture, setting up for events, or performing basic landscaping duties.
In some cases, general workers may also be responsible for operating machinery or equipment. This requires specialized training and certification to ensure that they are operating the equipment safely and efficiently.
