Job Overview
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering an exciting opportunity within our Warehouse division. We are seeking a skilled individual with relevant experience for the role of Warehouse Clerk in Nigel. The selected candidate will have a direct reporting line to the Stock Manager based in Nigel.

In order to ensure resolution is possible using a standardized format, the following tasks should be executed:

• Timely and accurate execution of production issues and receipts on SAP.
• Accurate execution of all external bottler transactions and corresponding invoicing.

Stock Reconciliation:

• Daily reconciliation of all inventory movements, including Primary Distribution, Secondary Distribution, 3rd party issues and receipts, and production issues and receipts.
• Processing of daily write-ups and write-downs, such as breakages, salvages, trade replacements, and container destruction.
• Performing daily stock counting process.
• Compliance with national SOP’s regarding stock processes.
• Proper care for assets according to standard operational practices.
• Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of system transactions.
• Control and storage of documents in accordance with company policy.
• Timely completion of daily controls in the appropriate manner.

Settlement:

• Immediate settlement of all Drivers and accurate resolution of errors in the SAP system.
• Accurate completion of route settlement and correction of any errors.
• Maintenance of a register for route settlement corrections and ensuring an acknowledgement of debt for unexplained Driver shortages or missing POD’s.
• Providing credit notes and invoices to Distribution to obtain customer signatures on route settlement correction billing documents.
• Meeting all customer POD requirements and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Coca-cola is hiring Warehouse Clerk, A register for missing and unsigned invoices must be maintained to ensure compliance. Customer queries are addressed daily to maintain accurate customer accounts. System transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

In terms of Chep pallet management, the daily call off of required pallets is managed to meet operational needs and holding days on Chep. Issues and receipts to and from Chep are accurately recorded. Reconciliation between Portfolio Plus and SAP is conducted, and any differences or queries are effectively resolved. Customer trade balances are communicated to minimize pallet holding days.

Coca-cola is hiring Warehouse Clerk, Skills, experience, and education knowledge required include understanding of warehouse processes and their inter-relationships, settlement processes, stock processes and SOPs, asset care, proof of delivery requirements, extensive systems knowledge (SAP), understanding of warehouse and distribution KPIs, and their impact on each other.

Skills needed include the application of knowledge areas, effective communication with team leaders, drivers, and the distribution team. Education requirements include a minimum of Grade 12 with math and science, preferably studying towards a logistics or transport degree. Minimum of 2 years relevant logistics experience, computer literacy, and experience with SAP and Excel are advantageous.
